GREASE Cu is a lubricant with anti-seize properties, for high temperatures and extreme pressures. The product’s action is triggered by particles of colloidal copper that prevent seizing phenomena and act as sliding bearing during the disassembly phase. 

• GREASE Cu allows firmer tightening and easy releasing. 
• It protects the threads and coupled surfaces against rust, pitting and seizing under pressure
• It does not leave carbonaceous deposits and boasts excellent waterproofing properties.
• It sustains temperatures up to 1100ºC (2000ºF).

USES

Lubricating action: it facilitates the assembly and disassembly of gaskets and bolts of heads, pins, flanges, metal gaskets, pressure coupling, bushes and bearings. 

Anti-corrosive action: it can be used on steel, iron, aluminium, copper, brass, titanium and light alloys as protective finish for threads and coupling surfaces. The product, once applied, is an excellent conductor of electricity therefore it is ideal to protect and lubricate any type of electric connection, also in extremely corrosive environments. 

Waterproofing action: the colloidal copper, which perfectly adapts to the gaps of coupled surfaces, renders the product particularly suitable to seal joints, sheaths and fittings. 

METHODS OF USE

The product is available bulk and in 400 ml spray bottle. Apply the product on perfectly degreased and dry surfaces, preferably at ambient temperature. Do not exceed the recommended doses, and apply a very thin layer. When using the spray bottle (non MIL compliant), shake the bottle well before spraying in order to allow the steel ball to evenly mix the product.

Spraying without previously shaking the bottle may clog the nozzle irreversibly.

STORAGE

The product is stored in the original containers for a period of at least 24 months.
