KEMPERSTRIP GEL SFA LC s a medium-action gel paint remover, able to eliminate most of the paint and primer systems, used in the aviation industry, such as those applied on aircraft (including structural parts of the cell), machinery, heavy equipment, road signs, trucks, trailers and cars. The product significantly reduces the level of chlorinated solvents used in the formulation.

KEMPERSTRIP GEL SFA LC, penetrating the paint layer, reaches the adhesion area by loosening the ties and consequently aiding the removal through a high-pressure jet of water or the use of a specific device. KEMPERSTRIP GEL SFA LC removes, in most of the cases, both the paint and the primer, without affecting any layers of existing chromate present on the surfaces of aluminum alloy (2024 series alloys; 6061; 7075),in a single step process.

The evaporation retardants, spread on the free surface of the gel, allow a rational use of the product, lowering, at the same time, the emissions in the working environment.

KEMPERSTRIP GEL SFA LC is best for all those activities, which often have the problem ofmultiple layers paint removal, as: NDT inspections in the aeronautical and military sector, mechanic parts maintenance, body shops, etc. The effectiveness of the product, which is not classified as toxic according to current regulations (30° adjustment to the technical progress - REACH), is comparable to those of phenolic products

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Distribute evenly with a brush/spatula on the surface to be treated, forming a thick layer. Wait 15 to 60 minutes (depending on the type of paint and the number of layers) until the appearance of bubbles and curling in the paint. Peel back with pressure washer or a spatula to remove the paint; dry the part before painting. For multiple paint layers parts, or with particularly tenacious coatings, stir, after a while, the gel already applied with a brush, to restore the action. In other cases, multiple applications might be necessary.

The product is NOT SUITABLE for magnesium alloys. Certain ferrous alloys might develop oxidative phenomena during rinsing and drying, but generally manageable in the later surface preparation for the new painting. Application on wood, by-products and other composite materials is not recommended.
