It is an anti-corrosion additive for metals that are subjected to frequent and long contact with water and / or aqueous solutions.
The product is added to the processing water and, thanks to the active ingredients present in the formulation, blocks the oxidation phenomena triggered by atmospheric oxygen and provides an excellent protective action for both ferrous metals and aluminum and yellow metals.
- It doesn’t contain mineral oils or soaps, so it doesn’t go rancid over time.
- It doesn’t form films of any kind on the treated pieces, not altering the dimensions and not interfering with subsequent painting or galvanizing operations.
PRONEX RED P can be used as an anti-corrosion additive in many applications:
- Aqueous solutions for hydraulic tests.
- Rust and oxidation prevention for all metals.
- Last rinse solutions.
- Lubricating and cooling fluids.
- Anti-freezing fluids.
HOW TO USE
Add PRONEX RED P in the ratio of 0.5-1.0% (5-10 gr / lt) on the volume of fluid to be treated.
The factors that influence the result are numerous and difficult to predict a priori, so it is advisable, in the early times of use of the product, to frequently monitor the results in order to establish, case by case, the correct concentration of use.
It is advisable to use the minimum dosage when a varnish or a nickel-plating is followed.
The volume of the solution must be periodically renewed when it is enriched with pollutants.
