It is a specific algicide for treating waters used in (open or closed) thermal exchange circuits. Its active principle does not corrode metals, it can be used in alkaline and acid solutions and it is not volatile therefore it does not transform into vapour. It does not interfere with chelating and anti-corrosive additives generally used for water treatments. 

In circuits with high turbulence, it can be applied in any dose since it does not generate foam.

It prevents the formation of slimes of bacterial and algal origin in cooling towers and heat exchangers, maintaining the thermal exchange efficient in time.  It is extremely active on algae belonging to the Chlorella genus, moulds and bacteria like Pseudomonas spp. BIOSAN ALGHE SPECIAL is recommended for:

METHODS OF USE

Intensive treatment: in case of a large quantity of algae, add from 5 to 10 litres of product every 10 m³ of water. After one hour, clean the filters of the circuit and remove the dead algae. 

Preventive treatment: add the product as is in the ratio of 1 litre every 10 m³ of water once a week (according to the characteristics of the developed type).

Treatment of water from painting booths: add 1 to 5 litres of product every 1 m³ of water.

Treatment of swimming pools: add 3 litres of product for 100 m³ of water as initial treatment. As maintenance dose, use 0.5 litres of product a week for every 100 m³ of water. The product can also be used to sanitize the borders of swimming pools, using a 0.3% solution (3 litres of product in 10 litres of water).
