KEMPHOS SG is a phospho-degreaser for pre-painting operations on steel, aluminium, zinc, copper and alloys.
The product is indicated in cases where it is desired to obtain excellent resistance to corrosion.
KEMPHOS SG is a liquid product, immediately miscible with water, and is therefore easily measurable both manually and with automatic systems.
In the formulation of the product are added surfactants, which guarantee the complete removal of oily contaminants as well as inorganic buffered salts that produce effective phosphatization of the surfaces.
KEMPHOS SG contains active ingredients that make it suitable for use in hard water (up to 28 ° -30 ° F) as it avoids the formation of oxidizing and antioxidant deposits that pre-oxidize delicate surfaces such as sheet metal.
KEMPHOS SG form on ferrous surfaces a layer of iron phosphate which is a good base for anchoring for subsequent painting cycles irrespective of their nature.
The product provides excellent results even when used at low temperatures (30-50 ° C).

HOW TO USE
- Concentration: 10 - 20 gr/lt.
- Optimal temperature: 40°-50°C
- Contact time: 1-3 min
- pH: 4-5
TITRATION BATH
- Take 5 ml of solution.
- Add 20 ml of distilled water.
- Add 2 drops of phenolphthalein.
- Titre with NaOH 0.1 N.
- Conversion factor 5,8 (ml di NaOH needed to get pink color x 4,5 = gr of KEMPHOS SG).
